Some of the large Sunseeker and other pleasure boats can be seen at the entrance to Poole Quay Marina, and the quay is being redeveloped with luxury housing. In the background are some of the shops and stalls that line Poole Quay.

Poole Quay is a major tourist attraction in Poole. Here visitors can take cruises out around Poole Harbour, over to Brownsea Island or further afield. The quay is lined with restaurants, hotels and bars as well as numerous small shops. Many of the old warehouses are being redeveloped into luxury flats and apartments. Poole Quay is a popular place to gather and there are bike gatherings here regularly. Sunseeker has a factory nearby, and the RNLI headquarters is also close.
