Matley Heath and Matley Wood lie just to the east of and close to Denny wood in the New Forest in Hampshire. The wood contains a caravan site, but no toilet facilities. There are numerous forest paths which are both suitable for walking and cycling, several of which give access to nearby villages without needing to uses the roads.
