Milford on Sea lies on the south coast of England in Hampshire. The village high street borders the village green and is lined with shops and pubs. Milford on Sea is a small village, protected from much development or expansion, and therefore retains a quiet rural feel. Nearby are a shingle beach, Keyhaven and Lymington. A 1.5mile long shingle spit reaches out from Milford on Sea to Hurst Castle. Nearby off shore in the Solent stands the Ilse of Wight, and the famous Needles chalk formation is often clearly visible from the beach.

Milford on Sea is in the B3058, a country road that leads off the A337 between Christchurch and Lymington.
