Richmond Bridge is an old stone bridge, built in 1777 to replace an old ferry crossing. It was originally a toll bridge and collected tolls until 1859. Richmond Bridge connect Richmond with East Twickenham in southwest London. In the middle of the river downstream is Corporate Island.
