Riverside is right next to Richmond Bridge in Richmond. Here the grass terraces overlook the River Thames and Corporation Island. On Saturdays, at the top of the terrace in Heron Court, is a regular Farmers Market which is popular with locals and visitors alike. There are a few cafes and restaurants along the river here. In the summer months, this part of London is very popular with tourists.

The path along the river continues all the way to Kingston upon Thames to the south, passing Terrace Gardens, Buccleugh Gardens and Petersham Meadows just the other side of Richmond Bridge. The tow path also continues north along the Thames past Kew Gardens and Barnes finishing at Putney Bridge. Nearby is Richmond Park
