Cala en Turqueta is a cove on the southern side of Menorca with a lovely sandy beach near the small village of San Francesc. It is far from the tourist hotel resorts and as very few local amenities. You will need to bring your own food and drink. Lacking in hotels and beach resorts, Cala en Turqueta is very popular with locals and those seeking a peaceful retreat form the full blast of the package tourist industry. Simply relax on the sand or swim in the waters protected by the cove. There are few facilities or amenities on the beach.

A rocky headland to the west separates Cala en Turqueta from Cala des Talajer. There is a popular walk over the headland which passes the Talaia d'Artrutx on the way. Also nearby is the Cova des Mor.

Road: Cala en Turqueta is 12km south of Ciutadella. Take the road south to Sant Joan Gran and then follow signs down narrow country lanes to this and the other nearby beaches. Park at the car park and then walk 5 minutes along a sandy track to the beach.
