Haast Beach is about 7km from Haast on the West Coast of New Zealand. This tiny community has a hotel for visitors wanting the spend a couple of days in a remote part of New Zealand. During extreme weather, the Haast Jackson Bay Road between Haast Beach and Haast can become flooded. Further along the road is the historic Jackson's Bay. The area is part of a World Heritage Site.

Road: Haast is on the 6 Highway. It is about 140km north of Wanaka and 120 km from Fox Glacier. From Haast Junction take the Haast Jackson Bay Road to the beach.
