Pleasant Flat Near Haast Pass Shrouded in Cloud - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama shows the area around Pleasant Flat shrouded in cloud, caused by steam rising from the forest on the hillside. The area around Haast had just been passed over by a cyclone, dropping a lot of rain. As the skies cleared, the hills became shrouded in this mist for a short time. An hour later and it was all blue and sunny again, as shown in this Pleasant Flat panorama.
