Highway 6 at Havelock Creek - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
It was late in the afternoon on the drive from Haast to Fox Glacier and dusk was setting in. Mist covered the countryside and whispered through the forests. The scene was ghostly and quiet, in the middle of nowhere without a soul to be seen. I stopped by Highway 6 to take this moody panorama just past the bridge over Havelock Creek.
