Lake Brunner near Greymouth on the West Coast of New Zealand is a popular holiday area for those interested in brown trout fishing, water sports, hiking, walking and cycling. Around the lake are numerous small bays with boat launch facilities. The one shown in this picture is on the northern shore of the lake next to Moana at the mouth of the Arnold River.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Road: Moana on the northern shore of Lake Brunner is about 36km from Greymouth. Take Highway 7 to Stillwater and then Arnold Valley Road south to the lake.
If travelling over Arthurs Pass on Highway 73, then turn north at Jacksons up Lake Brunner Road and follow around the lake.
