The small passenger ferry transporting visitors across the water has just arrived and is seen at the end of the jetty. This small ferry can be seen on the satellite view on the Google map.

Ferry Landing is at the entrance to Whitianga Harbour and Mercury Bay on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand. A small passenger ferry crosses the strait linking Ferry Landing with Whitianga Quay, next to Whitianga Long Beach in Whitianga.
Near to Ferry landing are numerous beaches and coves. Popular among these are Cooks Beach, Shakespeare Cliff and the Purangi Reserve.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Ferry: From Whitianga Quay.
Road: Take Hot Water Beach Road from the 25 at Whenuakite and follow this past Cook's Beach to the end.
