The Alum Cliffs are near the southern end of Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, on the Walk 3 loop of the park, just pass the baby geyser. From here Walk 3 continues past Frying Pan Flats, Oval Pool and Sulphur cave to a lookout at Lake Ngakoro.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland is on Waiotapu Loop Road. This comes of Highway 5 at Waiotapu about 27km south of Rotarura and 55km north of Taupo.
