Opua is an important little village on the Bay of Islands in New Zealand. The village has an important marina and a car ferry linking it to Okiato, and from there to Russell, avoiding a long and windy drive around the edge of the Waikare Inlet.

Opua is about 230km north of Auckland on the SH1 followed by SH11. It is a short distance from Paihia
