Whangarei Falls are a popular tourist attraction in Whangarei. The waterfall is in a public park and formed by the river falling 26m over a basalt lava flow on the way to Whangarei River.

Whangarei Falls is just south of Tikipunga Sports Park in Whangarei at the beginning of Ngunguru Road.
