Waipu Caves, near to Waipu in the Northland of New Zealand, are a local self guilded glow worm cave. Directions to the cave system and information about them can be obtained from the Tourist information office in Waipu. The glow worms are found in the third chamber, and the caves are set in rural surroundings. A track at the far end of the field leads into the woods and the Waipu cave entrance.

Waipu Caves are about 15km northwest of Waipu down a long, windy, dirt track. From Waipu take Shoemaker road over Highway 1. After about 6km turn left onto Mountfield Rd and then left again onto Waipu Caves Road.
