The Historic Ships Wharf is part of Lake Union Park at the souther end of Lake Union in Seattle. A number of important historic ships and boats are moored alongside the wharf, and some of them are open to the public. Among the boats are a schooner Wawona, the tug Arthur Foss, the fireboat Duwamish, the lightship Swiftsure, and the steamer Virginia V, which is sometimes used for events. From time to time other large historic boats may visit the Historic Ships Wharf which has, in the past, seen both the Hawaiian Chieftain and the Lady Washington, which featured the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
