Waterfall Garden Park - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Panorama taken from Waterfall Park in Seattle. This is a little out-of-the-way park tucked in a corner of the CBD and easy to walk past. It is named after the waterfall cascading down a fake rock face at one corner of the park and has some seating.

Waterfall Garden Park is tucked away in downtown Seattle, close to Klondike Goldrush NHP. The park opened in 1978 and commemorates the birthplace of United Parcel Service in 1907. The garden is surrounded by an ornamental iron fence with a waterfall cascading 22 fet down an imitation rockface in one corner. The waterfall resembles those found in the nearby Olympic Mountains.
Within Waterfall Garden Park are numerous chairs and tables, providing a relaxing space as the sound of the waterfall blocks out other city noise. Waterfall Garden was built as Seattle's response to Paley Park in New York City.
ADDRESS
