Haleiwa Beach Park - FURTHER INFORMATION
Haleiwa Beach Park - Oahu visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Haleiwa Beach Park' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Hawaii.
Hale'iwa Beach Park is on the left of Waialua Bay on the outskirts of Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii. The beach in Haleiwa Beach Park is unusual on Oahu as the sand is a light brown colour instead of white. The waters here are quite calm, protected from the surf by Haleiwa Boat Harbor wall and the beach offers good views of both sunrise and sunset At the northern end of the beach is Puaena Point. In the park behind Haleiwa Beach are two full length basketball courts and two volleyball courts. The area here is often used for festivals and carnivals as well.
Haleiwa Beach Park should not be confused with Haleiwa Ali'i Beach Park, the famous surfing beach on the other side of Waialua Bay, past the harbor.
