Kawailoa Beach is a short distance east of Haliewa on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii. A popular North Shore surf beach, it is between Laniakea Beach (Turtle Beach) and Waimea Bay Beach Park.
Kawailoa Beach is named after the rocky coastline. The beach is not a popular swimming spot due to rip tides between the surf, but is a popular surfing spot. Green turtles can often be found close to the shore here. The back of Kawailoa Beach is lined with luxury and expensive housing.
Kawailoa Beach is about 3 miles from Haleiwa on the 83 (Kamehameha Hwy). Parking is beside the road, take car when crossing.
