Kaunala Beach is a short distance from Sunset Beach and Sunset Beach Park on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii. Kaunala Beach is quite quiet, with a mixed lava and sandy shoreline with waves breaking off shore. There is no lifeguard here.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Kaunala Beach and Sunset Beach Park are just north of Pupukea, about 8 miles from Haleiwa (10 miles from Wailua) and 36 miles from Honolulu.
