The National Theatre opened in 2002. It is near Lágymányosi Bridge, at the southern end of Grand Boulevard, about a 5min walk from the Csepel HEV station. It is next to the Palace of Arts (Művészetek Palotája). Nearby is a maze and a conical tower with a spiral path and a viewing platform at the top.
