Magic Island (Ala Moana State Park) joins Ala Moana Beach Park in downtown Honolulu on Oahu. Magic Island has a small, protected, lagoon beach shown in this picture. From Magic Islands there are great views past Ala Wai Boat Harbor and along the beaches of Waikiki all the way east to Diamond Head.

The beach on Magic Island is protected by an off shore reef and offers safe family swimming. There are life guards here and picnic areas nearby.

Ala Moana Beach Park is next to Ala Moana Blvd at the front of Ala Moana Shopping Center, the main bus interchange for Honolulu.
