Queen Emma Summer Palace is in Honolulu next to Nuuanu Valley Park and Queen Emma Square. It served as a retreat on Oahu in Hawaii for the queen and is known in Hawaiian as Hanaiakamalama (The Southern Cross). Car: Queen Emma Summer Palace is about 5 miles from Waikiki next to Nuuanu Valley Park. Take the 1 Hwy west and then the Pali Hwy (61) north. The Palace is on the right, just past Laimi Road.
