Nuuanu Valley Park is in the upper reaches of Nuuanu Valley on Oahu, next to the Queen Emma Summer Palace, close to Oahu Country Park and about 10 minutes away from downtown Honolulu in Hawaii.

Nuuanu Valley runs up the western flank of the Ko'olau Range from Honolulu. The upper reaches of the valley were popular with Hawaiian royalty and other wealthy Hawaiians as the climate here was more comfortable than along the coast of Oahu. Further north the Pali Hwy is the Nuanuu Pali Lookout where the top of the valley passes over the mountains.
