Wienfluss is the colloquial name for the River Wien that flows through Vienna. The river is 31km long, starting at Rekawinkel in the Wienerwald and 15km are within the city limits. At the center of Vienna the Wienfluss flows into the Donaukanal, a branch of the Danube.

This panorama shows a section of the Wienfluss as it flows past the northern edge of the Lainzer Tiergarten. The Wienfluss continues east from here past the Schlosspark at Schonbrunn and then, a little further on, through Stadtpark before joining the Danube next to the Urania Cinema.
