The Crypt lies below the Sanctuary in the The Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne. The Crypt contains a bronze statue of a father and son and panels listing every unit of the Australian Imperial Force.
The Shrine of Remembrance is the largest ANZAC war memorial in Australia. Initially built to commemorate the fallen from Victoria in WWI, the shrine soon became the prime memorial for all of Australia's war dead.
