The Domain Oval is part of the Domain in Melbourne, and borders the Royal Botanic Gardens next to the Old Melbourne Observatory. Within the middle of the Domain Oval is the The Shrine of Remembrance, the largest ANZAC war memorial in Australia. The Shrine of Remembrance is open to the public and focal points include the Sanctuary and Crypt. There are good panoramic views back over Melbourne's CBD from the upper terrace of the Shrine.
