The Southbank promenade runs along the Yarra River between Princes Bridge and Queens Bridge in Melbourne. West from here is the 'Yarra Promenade', though the two are often thought of as synonymous. The Southbank Promenade is lined with restaurants and cafes, and every Sunday it hosts the Southbank art and craft market near the Arts Centre. A main focal point of the Southbank is the Southgate Arts and Leisure Precinct. The Yarra Footbridge and Sandridge Bridge, both footbridges, cross the Yarra River from Southbank Promenade.
