The Gordon Reserve is south of the Parliament buildings in Melbourne. As well as a statue to Adam Lindsay Gordon is a plaque commemorating the completion of cable-laying between Melbourne and Sydney by the Postmaster-General Department (PMG).
Nearby are the Treasury Gardens, Fitzroy Gardens and St Patrick's Cathedral.
