First Vienna Pony Carousel - FURTHER INFORMATION
First Vienna Pony Carousel - Vienna visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'First Vienna Pony Carousel' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Wien.
This panorama shows the First Vienna Pony Carousel, found between Kids Highway and the cotton candy stand and just behind the Schweizerhaus restaurant in the Wurstelprater amusement park in the Prater of Vienna.
As the name suggests, First Vienna Pony Carousel is driven by ponies, a method that dates from the end of the 18th Century. It was dismantled during WWII and then reconstructed in the original style becoming a firm, favorite attraction within the Wurstelprater. The First Vienna Pony Carousel has been run by the same family for generations who take the ponies along the Prater Hauptallee every morning.
Other attractions within the Wurstelprater include the Ghost Train (Alt Wiener Grottenbahn).
