Bamford is a small village in the Peak District in Derbyshire, England, close to the River Derwent. Bamford is close to Ladybower Reservoir and Derwent Reservoir, and has a number of B&B's that serve visitors to the area. It is not as popular as nearby Hope or Hathersage as there are no major historical places of interest within the village, but is close to the 18-hole Sickleholme golf course. Nearby is Win Hill, a popular walk in the Peak District.
