Oktogon
The Oktogon is an octagonal area formed by the junction between Andrassy Ut and the Grand Boulevard's (Nagykörút) in Budapest. The fronts of the four buildings on the corners face the center. Along with the crossings of the roads this forms an octagonal shape. Oktogon is also the name of the M1 metro station that serves the area.Andrassy Ut continues northeast from here through Kodály körönd to Heroes' Square (Hősök tere) where you will find the Museum of Fine Arts and the Art Hall. The Hungarian State Opera (Magyar Állami Operaház) is in the other direction back towards the center of Budapest.
