High West Street runs through the middle of Dorchester, the County Town of Dorset in England. In the summer this is a very busy street full of visitors as Dorchester is a major tourist destination in Dorset. The street is lined with cafes and restaurants and on it are the Dorset County Museum, St Peter's Church and Holy Trinity Church.

The Dorchester County Museum is on High West Street which runs through the middle of Dorchester. The town is the convergence of several roads. Take the A35 from Poole (24 miles), or west from Bridport (16 miles west) and Lyme Regis (26 miles). From Weymouth and Portland (about 9 miles) take the A354 north. From Yeovil (about 20 miles) the A37 south, and from Sherborne (20 miles) the A352.
