Mount Orford lies very close to Magog and Sherbrooke, a short distance from Montreal in Quebec, Canada. This image was taken from a hill near the borders of Quebec and the US states of New Hampshire and Vermont, close to Wallace Pond.

Mount Orford contains a popular ski resort in Eastern Canada which covers the three summits of Mont Giroux, Mont Orford and Mont Alfred Desrochers. The Mount Orford summit is served by a Telemix ski lift which contains both a six person chair lift and 8 man gondola, and was the first ski lift of this kind in North America.
