Neila de San Miguel is a small village in the Avila region of Castilla y Leon, Spain. This panorama shows the southern entrance to the village. The region around Avila is becoming increasingly popular for tourism, and a number of new hotels and holiday apartments are being built in the surrounding area.

Neila de San Miguel is surrounded by rural pastureland and chestnut woods with the Forest of Neila de San Miguel a short distance north.

To the south of Neila de San Miguel lie the Sierra de Gredos, popular for walking and trekking in the summer. There is some skiing available in the winter season.
