The church of Sant Eugenio stands on the northwest corner of the Villa Borghese park in Rome. The church was built Pope Pius XII in the mid 1900's and dedicated to St Eugenius, a 7th century Pope. The altar was consecrated in 1951. The interior of this modern church imitates Baroque style and the church also contains some frescos. This church is not of importance to most tourists.
