Panorama taken of the coastline between Mburenivalu and Lodoni villages in Fiji. This picture was taken at low tide, walking out onto the mud flats. A number of small fishing boats line the shoreline and just off shore is a small, pointed island. It would have been great to have a kayak to go exploring.

Mburenivalu is a tiny village on the east coast of Viti Levu in Fiji, a little south of the Natovi Landing, Lawaki village and Tailevu Point. Several small settlements line this coast of Viti Levu. Off shore in this image, lying low on the horizon is Qata Island. Beyond this are the larger Moturiki Island and Ovalau Island.

Mburenivalu is about 45 km north of Nausori, and about 55 km from Suva. A bus runs from Suva through to this area. Much of the last 20 km is on dirt track.
