Via del Corso - FURTHER INFORMATION
Via del Corso - Rome visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Via del Corso' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Roma.
Via del Corso is one of the three 'trident' streets in Rome. The road runs north from Piazza del Popolo between the two churches of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and Santa Maria di Montesanto. It passes the church of San Carlo al Corso and continues south to Piazza Venezia and the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II next to the Roman Forum (Forum Magnum).
Via del Corso is one of the wider streets in Rome. It is about 1.5km long and the northern part is pedestrianised. Aside from the sights given above along the road, other nearby attractions include Ara Pacis, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Piazza di Spagna and Fontana di Trevi.
