Es Canar is an open bay about 5km north of Santa Eulalia on east coast of Ibiza island. The bay is very popular with tourists who flock to the sandy Es Canar Beach, which is lined with numerous hotels and holiday apartments. Es Canar is an ideal family holiday resort and boat trips run during the summer months to either Sant Eulalia and Ibiza Town.

During the summer months there is a Hippy Market here every Wednesday and Es Canar provides all sorts of water sports, including diving, snorkeling, wind surfing and sailing. Hotels and hostels in Es Canar include Hostal Vista Al Mar, Hostal Flamingo Hostal Flamingo, Hotel Anfora, Hostal Los Pinos, Mar y Huerta Hotel. At the top end of the luxury range are Caribe Hotel, Sirenis Atlantic Hotel, Paraiso Beach Hotel and Fiesta Hotel Cala Nova.

Nearby are numerous other beaches and coves including Cala Llenya, Cala Mastella and Cala de Boix. Heading back to Santa Eulalia are Cala de Gat, Cala Pada and Sa Caleta.

By Road: From Santa Eulalia (Santa Eularia) take the PM10 out of town and where it joins the PM-810, take a right along a long straight road following signs to Es Canar.
Ferry: In the summer months a regular ferry service is available between Santa Eulalia and Es Canar.
