The Arche Noah Association was founded in 1994, and today is a tourist attraction in Krems Land in Niederösterreich (Lower Austria). The gardens here grow some 900 varieties of garden and field crops from a seed bank of over 6000 different species.

The Arche Noah garden at Schiltern, near Langenlois, is open to the public with guided tours and plant shopping on offer. Entrance is ticketed but members of the Arche Noah and children go for free. This panorama shows part of the garden cultivation areas.
