Cala en Turqueta and Cala des Talajer are both on the southern side of Menorca. There is a path over the headland that links the two beaches, and also leads to Talaia d'Artrutx. From the walk it is possible sometimes on a clear day to see Mallorca on the horizon. Neither of these two beaches have any of the amenities and facilities associated with the larger tourist centers, but if you are looking for a secluded place then these beaches are worth considering.

Road: Follow the signs south from Cuitadella de Menorca to Sant Joan Gran (6km). From here signposts will take you a further 6km down narrow country roads to a number of beaches in the area including Cala des Talajer, Cova des Moro and Cala en Turqueta.
