Storžič (Storžičem) is one of the mountains in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps in the Gorenjska region of northern Slovenia. At 2132m, Storžičem is the highest peak in the western part of the Kamnik-Savinian Alps. The views while ascending the mountain and from the top make it one of the most popular walking spots in the area and the ascent is normally made from one of 8 different starting points with climbing times ranging from 2 to 4 hours.
From the top of Storžič the view stretches south to the Ljubljana basin in the Crimea, covering also Javornik, Snežnik, silt and Škofjeloško Hills. To the west lies eastern part of the Julian Alps dominated by mount Triglav (2864m). To the north are the Karavanke range whose prominent peaks include Begunjščica and Košuto (Kosuta). To the east is Kokra Born valley.
