Walford Mill near Wimborne in Dorset is a modern gallery which promotes local arts and crafts. The Mill puts on 8 exhibitions a year featuring work from both national and international craftsmen. Walford Mill also has a number of resident craft workers who produce woven silk (Debbie Kirby), Jewelry (Kathryn Arbon) and glass items.

The Mill also has an active educational programme with courses that are one-day workshops or run over several weeks. These are very good opportunities to both improve skills as well as gain new ones. The courses cover a variety of crafts from wood turning, silk dying, quilting, jewelry making and more.
