Männlichen Lookout - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Panorama taken from the lookout behind the restaurant at the top of Mannlichen. The picture was taken on a sunny day during the ski season in 2006 and shows a view down the valley, and surrounding mountains. On this day we were above the cloud layer.

Männlichen is one of the mountains in the Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen ski region in Jungfrau, Switzerland. It is served a cable car from Wengen and both bubble lifts and chairs from Grinderwald. At the top is a restaurant and stunning views over the surrounding area. The restaurant here is at 2230m. The top of the peak - Männlichen-Gipfel (2343m), can be seen to the north and in the summer is an easy walk from the restaurant. In winter months wading through snow to this point is hard work.
