Part way Ski run 3, the Männlichen run, a side branch heads off to the base of the Läger chairlift. This is the first of the links needed to cross over from the Männlichen slopes to the Kleine Scheidegg and Lauberhorn ski areas from the top of the Wengen-Männlichen cable car. The linkage is completed by ascending Läger lift and skiing down run 8 to the Gummi chair, up this, down run 12 and then up Arven Chair to Kleine Scheidegg. This series of links is required if you wish to ski back to Wengen.

From this point there are good views down the valley to Grindelwald. The area is dominated by several notable mountain peaks; Wetterhorn (3701m), Schreckhorn (4078m), Eiger (38970m), Mönch (4170m) and Jungfrau (4158m).
