The Puerto de San Miguel (Port de San Miguel) has become a popular holiday destination on the north coast of Ibiza. The beach and port lie at the end of a long, protected cove and has been built up with various hotels, bars and restaurants pulling in a large number of visitors during the high season. Various hotels and holiday apartments are built on the hillside and cliffs overlooking the bay and beach. The port is not as developed as some other resorts on Ibiza and makes a good family alternative to the major resorts. The northern coastline is beatiful and contains many secluded small coves well worth exploring. Nearby are the Caves of C'an Marça and Cala Benirrás, as well Cala des Molto beach.
Port de San Miguel also boast one of the best fish restaurants on Ibiza, the 'Port Balansat'.
