Chipstead - FURTHER INFORMATION

Chipstead - Chipstead visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Chipstead' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Surrey.

Chipstead is an ancient village on the North Downs in Surrey, England. Though the village is mentioned in the Doomsday Book, it is now a commuter village for those working in London. Chipstead has now village centre, and the village church, St Margarets, is near Hooley. Being in the commuter belt with good links to London, property prices here are among the highest in the region. Local pubs include The Ramblers Rest and the White Heart.

Nearby attractions include Chipstead Downs and Solmon's Woods, St Margaret's Church and Elmore Pond. Nearby is the 18-hole Chipstead Golf Course and the village is not far from Epsom Race Course and the North Downs, which is a popular walking location.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE

Train: Chipstead Station from London Bridge or Victoria (40 minutes).
