Nutfield - FURTHER INFORMATION

Nutfield - Merstham visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Nutfield' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Surrey.

Nutfield is a small village just south of Merstham and east of Reigate in Surrey. The village has a population of around 3,000 and used to be part of the Reigate Hundred. It is referred to in the 1086 Doomsday Book as 'Notfelle'. Today the village is surrounded by Greenbelt land and is strongly resisting any development of the surrounding open areas. It lies within the London commuter belt on the North Downs and the North Down Way, and property prices are therefore higher than in some of the surrounding areas. The village has a few shops, but the nearest large shopping centres are either in Merstham or Reigate.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
