The Camden Market lies on the east side of Chalk Farm Road in Camden. The collections of markets clustered around Camden Lock. They include The Historic Stables Market, Camden Lock Market, Camden Canal Market and Inverness Street Market form the 4th most popular tourist attraction in London attracting around 100,000 people every weekend. These markets entered their present form around 1974 with the formation or the Camden Lock Crafts Market, though the fruit market on Inverness Street preceded this by some time.Chalk Farm Road leads to the markets from Camden Town tube station. The road is lined with shops selling alternative culture goods and clothes. It is also possible to walk along the Regents Canal from Camden Lock to Regents Park.

Tube: [[4122,Camden]] (Northern line). At peak times Camden Town tubes does not allow passengers to enter the station and those wishing to depart must walk to either [[4124,Mornington Crescent]] or Chalk Farm Road stations.
