This panorama was taken from a pier on the western side of Margaret Island in Budapest. A running track encircles the elongated island. From here you can see over to the Buda side of Budapest.Margit Hid lies off to the south, just visible in this panoramic, and Árpád Bridge is clearly visible to the north. Margit Island is mostly covered by open parkland. It contains a number of significant sights and attractions and is a popular recreational area for tourists visiting Budapest on holiday as well as locals.

These travel directions take you to the south entrance to Margaret Island (Margitsziget).
Metro: M3 (Nyugati pályaudvar) then trolleybus 4, 6 down Szent István körút.
Trolleybus: 2, 2a (terminates on the Pest side of Margit hid), 4, 6 (cross the bridge)
